Discover Buffières and its beautiful surroundings via our marked trails.

Under the PDIPR (Plan Départemental des Itinéraires de Promenades et Randonnées), the municipality of Buffières offers you 3 yellow-marked trails. They will help you discover the different panoramas provided by the surroundings of this Cluny area village.

You can choose the one you like through the panel « Relais Informations Randonnées » in front of the post office in the centre of the village, point of departure of the hikes.

Circuit of Bois de la Garde

The Circuit of Bois de la Garde, tagged BU1, is 9.2 Km long. You will discover four of the five Mills Buffières had once: Moulin Martenin, Grande Rivière, Grivaux and Moulin Georges. They punctuate a journey that will take you from the vallée de la Gande to the panoramas of the bois de la Garde and Clou Cortot.

Circuit of la Gagère

The Circuit of la Gagère, tagged BU2, is 6,3 Km long. It takes you to the hamlet of Chatillon by the Valley of Brenetiau ; then, take the direction of Bonnaland and its wide North panorama before crossing the wood of La Gagère. At the end of your walk, the Ardillets and its view, the village and its church, will greet you.

Circuit of la Lienne

The Circuit of la Lienne, tagged BU3, is 9 Km long: from the Moulin Martenin to the Saint-Pierre wood (altitude 543 m), a 5Km ascent before a well deserved break with the megalithic clusters and fox « beuttes » on your right. The descent on the Gordet with its remarkable point of view, a detour by the Gros Four and the Manor of La Faye are on the menu for the last miles.
